My very first book.
As a child, I fancied myself a bit of an author. I loved mixing up my favourite fairytales into (in my eyes) elaborate and amazing adventures.
I remember sitting in my Grandma's kitchen with my pink notebook and jumbo pot of one hundred pens, writing a story that was a mix of Cinderella, Peter Pan and Barbie: Fairytopia.
(Quick side note: I'm getting so much nostalgia for the Barbie movies while writing this.)
Such an original story obviously needed illustrations to go along with it though.
After a cup of tea and biscuits from Grandma, and much concentration from little me, my first novel was finished: Elyser saves the day!
I'm pretty sure I was trying to spell "Eliza". I'm also sure that the rest of there story had just as many spelling mistakes. But I had no editor! What more could I have done?
Roughly fifteen years later, I have illustrated three real life books! If only eight year old me could see me now.

Thats lovely India:)
